Shop Technician

CIT Sewer Solutions is looking for a hands-on Shop Technician to keep our fleet and specialty sewer equipment running strong. If you have a diesel mechanic background, bring your own tools, and take pride in doing the job right, we want to hear from you.

Full-Time
McCallsburg, Iowa
$80,000 to $100,000 per year, DOE

What You'll Do

  • Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel-powered trucks and shop equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Keep accurate maintenance and repair records for the fleet
  • Inspect and service specialty sewer inspection and rehabilitation equipment
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience as a diesel technician
  • Must have your own tools
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, safety-minded, and detail-oriented

Pay and Benefits

  • Pay: $80,000 to $100,000 per year, dependent on experience
  • $1,000 sign-on bonus
  • Quarterly profit sharing bonus
  • 2 weeks PTO, accrual begins after 90 days
  • 6 paid holidays
  • $7,200 per year toward health, vision, and dental benefits
  • 401(k) with company match up to 6%
  • Aflac supplemental insurance available

Nice to Have

  • Experience servicing IBAK and/or Schwalm equipment is a plus
