PipePatch TYGER tee and wye lateral seal

Our crews use TYGERPatch, Source One Environmental's cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) connection-repair system, at suitable junctions between your sewer main and lateral. A tee connection meets the main at a right angle; a wye enters at an angle. We inspect the junction and surrounding pipe before selecting and installing the connection liner.

The resin-bearing liner spans the junction and extends a short distance into the lateral. We position it against the prepared pipe and cure it in place to repair the damaged connection and address groundwater entering there. The TYGERPatch product family includes full-circumference and top-hat configurations; the selected configuration determines how much of the main and lateral is treated.

A leaking connection needs its own treatment after mainline lining.

A mainline liner follows your sewer main. If it covers a lateral opening, robotic reinstatement reopens that opening for flow. Reopening the connection does not automatically seal groundwater entry around the junction.

Where your inspection identifies a suitable damaged junction, connection lining treats that area separately. We can coordinate connection repairs with other selected rehabilitation locations in your municipality's or facility's sewer system.

We record your connection before and after repair.

A CIT operator reviews live sewer inspection video at the control console inside a televising truck. — Our CCTV operator reviews the pipe interior. Inspection shows the connection geometry and surrounding pipe condition.

Your repair package includes CCTV footage before and after installation at each treated connection. Your staff and engineer can review the original visible condition and the completed junction repair alongside the rest of your rehabilitation records.

Connection repair treats the selected junction. It does not rehabilitate the entire lateral toward a building or remove every source of unwanted water elsewhere in your collection system.
